Before you break it off with CBD… Read this
CBD may not be working for you and that isn’t abnormal. With any supplement or medication, that can happen. For example, some take Tylenol or aspirin religiously and swear that it gets them to function throughout their day and others note that it has no effect on them whatsoever. Weird? Not at all. Here are some possibilities as to why CBD may not be “working” for you,
- Your CBD isn’t from a reputable company
Not all CBD products are created equal in purity and potency. When shopping for CBD, it is crucial that you investigate the product you’re interested in. Due to the high volume of new CBD brands, most just want to hop into the CBD industry without creating a brand on transparency, authenticity, and integrity. What does that mean? CBD without third part lab testing can claim things on their labels that don’t apply to their product, they can lie about ingredients, and most likely use additives, fillers, and a minimal refinement CO2 extraction that leave extreme impurities.
- You’re not following dosing protocols (i.e. micro-dosing, optimal dosing, and high dosing).
First, it is very important for you to understand that everyone’s endo-cannabinoid system is different. As a result, CBD oil users should expect to do their own experimentation to find their “sweet spot” and what is optimal for them. One of the most common methods for finding your “sweet spot” dose is called micro-dosing. CBD micro-dosing is a technique that involves taking very small amounts of CBD on a regular schedule. This allows for the CBD user to slowly build a tolerance to maintain proper balance of your cannabinoid receptors.
- Your biological system metabolizes supplements or substances at a high rate
Certain factors can affect this,
- Age
- Weight
- Gender
- Time of day taken
- Level of physical activity
- Level of stress
- Content of stomach and PH levels
- Presence of other medications
Because of genetic makeup, some people process (metabolize) drugs rapidly. As a result, people metabolize drugs so quickly that after they take a usual dose, drug levels in the blood never become high enough for the drug to be effective.
- You’re not using the best method for YOU.
There are various ways to supplement CBD. CBD can be supplemented sublingually, orally, topically and rectally/vaginally. You can also get CBD in baked goods, lip balms, and healing salves. It is best to research your ailment/condition in depth so you can match it to the perfect CBD product that’ll compliment your symptoms.
- You’ve already gotten it in your mind that it will not work
Manifestation is a powerful tool. Your mind creates your world, subconsciously. If you believe CBD isn’t going to work for you or that it is some type of fad, mumbo-jumbo then more than likely, CBD will not work for you. Your mind is the most powerful thing that resides in your body. Believe… in everything you do and have a positive outlook, mind, and thoughts. If you are experiencing negative thoughts about CBD, let them come and go and create a new outlook and then see how things change for you.
