CBD ISOLATE VS FULL SPECTRUM
There are two types of CBD, or processes it can be extracted from hemp. One it can be extracted into an oil substance and is considered “full spectrum.” Full spectrum is not just the CBD component but also includes all the other cannabinoids such as CBDV, CBG, CBC, THCV & THCA etc. ( last two mentioned, THC is the component which creates a psychoactive high, is illegal and can trigger positive results on drug screens for “drugs”)
There is also CBD isolate. CBD isolate, hence its name is ONLY the CBD component without the other cannabinoids. CBD isolate is highly pulverized and purified to extract trace amounts of THC and other cannabinoids is any are present. When it comes to Full spectrum vs isolate there are a few different opinions out there. People who support full spectrum generally have the opinion that it is better than isolate. Reason being that they say is because full spectrum has other cannabinoids present, that “is it more complimented by the other cannabinoids and there for the body responds to this better?”
We are here to tell you that the truth is that other cannabinoids have been shown to reduce inflammation and help with pain but there are in fact many reasons people will choose a CBD isolate over a full spectrum.
When looking at a CBD isolate the first thing we want to point out is that full spectrum does contain THC, and yes even though it may be a low content of THC that is technically okay, many professionals and other individuals want health benefits from CBD but do not want to risk failing a drug screen or feeling even subtle effects of the THC (psychoactive ingredient in marijuana) This includes but not limited to people in United States military, doctors & health professionals, Law enforcement, lawyers, parents who purchase for their children with illnesses such as ADHD, epilepsi etc and many more. CBD isolate products are generally labeled as being 99 percent or more pure CBD depending on the form they come in. As the name suggests, these products have been isolated down to just the CBD molecule. They have no other active ingredient and just aim to deliver therapeutic doses of CBD, isolated from the other cannabinoids. CBD isolate products often come as a white powder or a mix with a carrier oil such as MCT oil for improved absorption. So in short CBD isolates do allow users to easily get large amounts of CBD and know how much they’re getting. With the growing amount of evidence behind CBD and CBD alone it should definitely not be overlooked as it is associated and proven to help so many conditions such as anxiety, pain, inflammation, diabetes, depression and more.
Full spectrum derived from hemp generally has a taste, one that is not agreeable to most. Many people find the taste of full spectrum hemp extract unpleasant, which may mean they should try a CBD isolate (or another method of taking CBD such as CBD capsules or gummies). The lack of flavor in an isolate will also make isolate a better choice for cooking with CBD or mixing into ones beverages such as water, coffee, sports drink, beer etc.. CBD isolate powder can also be an appealing option for making CBD products for personal use, such as homemade CBD massage oil. Isolates also undergo more extensive refinement and require more plant matter in order to get high levels of isolated cannabidiol (CBD). So there you have ladies and gentlemen, with a CBD isolate you are still getting all the health benefits of the molecular compound without any risk, better taste and more universal uses to apply to your daily health regimen. With HempXclusive products the consumer is getting none of what you don’t want and more of what you do want.
